KREIS Kalyana Karnataka Teacher Recruitment 2026 Details
The Karnataka Examination Authority, on behalf of the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS), has invited online applications for various Group-C teacher posts in residential schools run under Morarji Desai, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Smt. Indira Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential Schools, specifically for vacancies falling under the Kalyana Karnataka (371(J)) local cadre.
Selection Process
- Offline OMR-based Competitive Written Examination (Paper 1 and Paper 2)
- Kannada Language Test (for non-Kannada medium candidates, qualifying in nature)

Important Guidelines & Preparation Tips
- Recruitment is for various Group-C teacher posts in KREIS residential schools under the Kalyana Karnataka (371(J)) local cadre.
- Candidates must possess a relevant Bachelor's Degree along with a B.Ed as per the post-wise qualification prescribed in the notification.
- Minimum age is 18 years as on the last date of application; maximum age limit is 45 years for general merit, 48 years for Category 2A/2B/3A/3B, and 50 years for SC/ST/Category-1 candidates.
- The written examination will be Offline OMR type, held at district centres across the state.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 35% marks in the competitive examination to be considered qualified.
- There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- A qualifying Kannada Language Test is required unless exempted under the conditions specified in the notification.
