KREIS Teacher Recruitment 2026 (RPC) Details
The Karnataka Examination Authority, on behalf of the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS), has invited online applications for various Group-C teacher posts in residential schools run under Morarji Desai, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Smt. Indira Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential Schools, under the general state-wide recruitment cadre.
Selection Process
- Offline OMR-based Competitive Written Examination (Paper 1 and Paper 2)
- Kannada Language Test (for non-Kannada medium candidates, qualifying in nature)

Important Guidelines & Preparation Tips
- Recruitment is for various Group-C teacher posts in KREIS residential schools under the general (non-Kalyana Karnataka) cadre.
- Candidates must possess a relevant Bachelor's Degree along with a B.Ed as per the post-wise qualification prescribed in the notification.
- Minimum age is 18 years as on the last date of application; maximum age limit is 45 years for general merit, 48 years for Category 2A/2B/3A/3B, and 50 years for SC/ST/Category-1 candidates.
- The written examination will be Offline OMR type, held at district centres across the state.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 35% marks in the competitive examination to be considered qualified.
- There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- A qualifying Kannada Language Test is required unless exempted under the conditions specified in the notification.

- Register and fill out the online application form for the KREIS teacher posts.
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph (JPEG, 50KB-200KB) and signature (JPEG, 50KB-70KB).
- Carefully review all entered details before final submission, as no correction is allowed after submission.
- Pay the prescribed application fee online and keep a copy of the submitted application and fee receipt until the recruitment process is completed.
